I know this already got asked but I'm in a frustrating situation and would love some input. Just moved into a new, modern condo with great facilities, nice furniture. convenient BTS access, everything looks good on paper. But the soundproofing between units is absolutely atrocious. I can hear my neighbor having conversations at normal volume, watching TV, coughing, opening and closing doors. It's genuinely as bad if not worse than student dorms I've lived in. - Is there any realistic chance of getting my deposit back if I break the lease early over this? I know that the answer is very likely "no", but might as well ask. - For those who went through the same situation, what did you actually do? Did you negotiate with the landlord, try to soundproof yourself, just suffer through it, or move out and eat the loss? - Is this just the norm for recent Bangkok condos, or did I get unlucky with a particularly bad unit/building? My previous condo didn't have that...
