Stabbing down Nana Soi 4

Never seen something so wild in my life. Guy was running with a kitchen knife, everyone chasing him. apparently stabbed someone. Was a stand off for a while, they managed to get the knife off him but looks like he had a taser too, before they managed to get him down. submitted by /u/skydiver19 [link] [comments] The Bangkok Community https://ift.tt/Mw60jyU Bangkok Hotel Deals

Getting marriage in bangkok

Hey everyone! My girlfriend and I are planning to get married in Bangkok, but we only have a short amount of time (about 10 days). Could anyone recommend translators (for same day service) as well as agencies in Bangkok that can help book next-day appointments? Things to do? Read description

Hey yall, I’m in Bangkok now (been here for a week and here until almost end of January, gotta finish some dual citizenship stuff up) and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on things I should do here. And by that specifically I mean things that are significantly cheaper here compared to the US. For example, my lenses on my glasses were scratched so I went and got them replaced for like 50$, I got a pedicure because it was like 9$, etc. I’m looking for stuff like that. I think I saw someone online say that teeth whitening is super cheap here. I’m pretty much good on markets and night markets etc. I know most of them. But yeah if you have any suggestions, and even any fun stuff thats less known feel free to drop it in the comments. Thanks yall! submitted by /u/Niccorocks [link] [comments] The Bangkok Community https://ift.tt/Labj14w Bangkok Hotel Deals

Budgeting for Bangkok

3 of my oldest friends and I are meeting for a well overdue trip to Bangkok in early January 2026. We've got flights and accommodation sorted/paid up and we'll be in the city for a total of 10 days (9 nights). We've not got any major ambitions while there outside of eating good food (no fine dining or fancy restaurants) and exploring the city in general. However, what makes this trip different from my 4 previous visits to Bangkok will be the fact that with the boys, alcohol is going to be a daily feature. Again, not fancy cocktails or bottle service in clubs but certainly no less than 5-6 beers a day each and maybe a few bottles of wine here and there. Furthermore, I have no interest in gogo bars or paying for girls but I'd certainly get a regular massage every other day. On top of that, we'll be spending on transport (BTS and MRT mostly) and paying to get into a few temples but that doesn't really move the budgetary needle much, in my experience. So, the qu...

Good prices for linen clothing?

I have been looking and buying short sleeve linen shirts randomly during the past year here in Bangkok. Past the few months I think more small shops are bringing linen shirts and clothing to their selection. But I have noticed that the prices are varying a lot from 300 baht to maybe 1200 baht and at least I cant really tell the difference in the fabric by touching it. Of course you sometimes see "linen" shirts that are very thin and soft, which maybe don't have much linen in them. And then there are the tailored shirts, even though some "low-end" tailor shops sell very cheap linen shirts too, but they are from same Thai brands I see in night markets. How much would you consider a good Thai price for a short sleeve linen shirt, buying from Pratunam, Chatuchak etc? For reference, quite similar linen shirts are ~800 baht in Uniqlo and H&M and ~1300 baht in Muji. And of course, you can recommend some shops for simple and cheap men's linen shirts. They are...

Honda riding school BKK

Hi, I'm looking for a contact for the Bangkok Honda riding school but I tried the number and line from the website with no response. Anyone able to help me out with a contact? submitted by /u/TDAGARIM3359 [link] [comments] The Bangkok Community https://ift.tt/yHck8IE Bangkok Hotel Deals

Proper spa for a deep tissue massage.

We will be staying in the Silom area and I’m looking for a proper spa/massage therapist. I’m a 52 years old athletic man, I’m looking for someone that can literally break my back and give my muscles a good stretch. I’ve been to an Urban Thai last year and while the experience was pleasant for a feet massage, a full body massage has been nothing sort of it. I had to wear a sort of pajama during the massage, it was not pleasant at all. I need a proper full oil massage. NOTHING SEXUAL PLEASE. submitted by /u/Slow_Description_773 [link] [comments] The Bangkok Community https://ift.tt/t2afWFw Bangkok Hotel Deals

Massage parlor music

I visited quite a few massage parlors in Bangkok and Pattaya and their music was quite similar or same, but I cannot find it. I am no longer there, maybe some of you know it? Thank you. submitted by /u/parkan [link] [comments] The Bangkok Community https://ift.tt/KzrhTSc Bangkok Hotel Deals

Film/TV/Media Internships in Bangkok and nearby

Hi! I am a 24-year-old student currently residing in the Netherlands and am super interested in an internship in Bangkok or nearby. This would have to be related to the field of Film/TV/Media, as I am currently studying it, and need this internship to graduate. I have Thai citizenship due to the fact that I was born in Bangkok, but I do not speak the language. Does anyone have any information or leads on how to find such internships, and if it's even feasible? My goal is to move to Thailand on a long-term basis if I do find an internship, but of course, the possibility of getting one should be there first. Please let me know if you have any information, it would be of great help! Thank you. submitted by /u/LongjumpingAmoeba468 [link] [comments] The Bangkok Community https://ift.tt/9QDhdqU Bangkok Hotel Deals
