Hello everyone! My partner and I will be in Bangkok later this year and want to celebrate our engagement with a spectacular meal. We have been to Bangkok a number of times before. We have been to Nahm, where I found the food to be good, and Gaggan which was... not for us. Perhaps the most overhyped meal of my life. We loved Samrub Samrub but it wouldn't quite be the atmosphere for an intimate meal. Looking for amazing food, great service and intimate atmosphere. Since this is a special meal I have no price limitations. I'm thinking about Sorn or Potong, and would be curious on anyone's thoughts between those or other spots (Nusara? Paste? Baan Tepa? Others?). My partner is an enormous Thai cuisine lover, so I'm looking for a restaurant serving Thai cuisine or Thai cusine with another influence, but nothing purely French or international.
