Travel insurance for Thailand expats doing visa runs?

I’m currently living in Thailand on a DTV visa, and I’ll need to exit soon as I approach my 180-day stay limit.

I’m planning a one-week trip to another Asian country and I’m curious what others do for travel insurance to cover things like flights, lost/stolen items, and medical.

I already have inpatient cover with Cigna, which covers me for up to 45 days outside Thailand and the UK. But I’m looking for options that will cover expats who’ve already been out of their home country for several months, since many insurers won’t cover you if you’ve been abroad for a while.

What providers or strategies do others use in this situation?
