How to transport furniture

I plan on buying a used office chair off fb marketplace since I will be here for 6 months. My condo is right by T21 so I was thinking of maybe just bringing it with me on the BTS during non peak hours and carrying it the rest of the way.

Is this even allowed or are there any better options?
