I have a hysterectomy planned back in the states but my gynecologist, covered with my specific insurance, who I have been seeing for years says she doesn't prescribe any opiod medication. My pain tolerance is low, im old, and I was wondering if I can get some from Bangkok while I'm here so I can use it after my surgery.
I don't know any names for these kind of medications I only know that post op in hospital they use hydromorphone or whatever. What are medications called that are strong enough for major surgery pain that I can ask a pharmacist and what would be the pharmacies I can go to with these medications..I would really appreciate if someone told me. I've never taken anything ever than tylenol-C so I'm not sure.
